Impact

Upgrading CoreDNS to the fixed version (v1.12.4) caused compatibility issues with sigs.k8s.io/gateway-api dependencies. Upstream needs to adjust the code to resolve the dependency tree correctly. Once addressed, we can upgrade the package and remediate the CVE.
