Impact

The affected module is shaded into the prebuilt ratis-thirdparty-misc uber-jar, which is resolved transitively from Apache Ratis and cannot be replaced through Maven dependency management. ratis-thirdparty-misc 1.1.0 bundles netty 4.1.136.Final, which resolves this advisory, but no released Apache Ratis version consumes it; Ratis 3.3.0 is the first to do so and has not yet been published.
