Impact

bcprov-jdk18on, bcpkix-jdk18on and bcutil-jdk18on are bundled inside the shaded uber-JAR pinot-all-jar-with-dependencies. Build-level version overrides are not reflected in the final shaded artifact due to how it is transitively pulled in. Bouncy Castle fixes this issue in 1.85. Remediation requires upstream Apache Pinot to update its Bouncy Castle dependency so that the shaded artifact bundles a fixed release.
