Impact

The detected component is oras.land/oras-go v1 (v1.2.5), for which the upstream advisory (GHSA-xf85-363p-868w / CVE-2026-48978) lists no patched version - the v1 module line is unfixed. The 2.6.1 fix applies only to the separate oras.land/oras-go/v2 module, which is a major-version migration. This component is compiled into a prebuilt Go binary bundled inside the vendored devfile gem, so the embedded dependency cannot be updated independently. Resolution requires an upstream release (GitLab/devfile) that migrates to oras-go v2. Deferring to upstream to address this in a subsequent update.
