Justification
Impact
CVE-2026-53009 affects the Intel ice ethernet driver (drivers/net/ethernet/intel/ice/ice_txrx.c), which is only built when CONFIG_ICE is enabled. That option is not enabled in any Chainguard kernel configuration — '# CONFIG_ICE is not set' where the Intel vendor menu is on, and '# CONFIG_NET_VENDOR_INTEL is not set' otherwise — so the vulnerable code is not included in the shipped kernel.
