Impact

This vulnerability is fixed in libthrift v0.24.0. Spark pins libthrift to 0.16.0 and libthrift has breaking changes between versions 0.16.0 and 0.24.0. Upstream maintainers will need to migrate spark to a fixed version of libthrift.
