Impact

Loki bundles github.com/prometheus/prometheus as a library dependency. Remediating this CVE requires bumping the embedded prometheus past v0.311.x, which restructured/removed packages (storage/remote/otlptranslator/prometheus, tsdb/errors) and changed parser and label-validation API surfaces. Loki source still references the removed packages and old APIs. The bump cannot be applied cleanly until upstream Loki adapts to the new prometheus package layout.
