Impact

This vuln has been partially remediated, but zipkin depends on Apache Pulsar 4.1.x which vendors a still-vulnerable version of Bouncy Castle. 4.1.x is no longer supported upstream, so a fixed version is not available: zipkin upstream will need to move to a remediated version of Pulsar for remedation.
