Updates

Status

Pending upstream fix

Impact

The detected component is github.com/distribution/distribution/v3, compiled into a prebuilt Go binary bundled inside the vendored devfile gem. The devfile library imports the module's /reference subpackage, which was extracted out of distribution/v3 in the v3.1.x fix line, so no patched v3 version resolves the build (a bump to v3.1.0/v3.1.1 fails to compile). The vulnerable version cannot be upgraded without an upstream devfile release migrating to the split github.com/distribution/reference module. Deferring to upstream (GitLab/devfile) to address this CVE in a subsequent update.
