Impact

CVE-2026-89425 is fixed in jackson-core 2.22.3 (https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson-core/security/advisories/GHSA-7hhh-6rmp-j9qf). The affected copy is shaded inside the parquet-jackson 1.18.1 jar from Apache Parquet, which bundles Jackson 2.22.2 and cannot be updated independently. Parquet 1.18.1 is the newest release; Parquet has moved to Jackson 2.22.3 on its 1.18.x and 1.19.x release branches, but no release with it has been published. Waiting for the first upstream release containing the fix.
