Impact

GHSA-5jmj-h7xm-6q6v (CVE-2026-54515) is fixed in jackson-databind 2.18.9 for the 2.18.x line. The flagged jackson-databind 2.18.6 copy is shaded and relocated inside hadoop-client-runtime-3.5.0.jar, the latest Apache Hadoop release (which builds against jackson 2.18.6), so it cannot be updated independently of that upstream project. This remains pending an upstream release that bundles 2.18.9 or later.
