Impact

Upstream rancher/rancher maintainers must backport implementation compatibility for Kubernetes 1.31 or greater in order to remediate this vulnerability. The fix versions (1.32.10+, 1.33.6+, 1.34.2+) require API compatibility that has not been implemented in the 2.9 version stream.
