Impact

GeoServer 2.27 bundles spring-webmvc 5.3.39, the final release of the Spring Framework 5.3.x line (EOL August 2024). No patched 5.3.x release exists on Maven Central; the fix is in Spring Framework 6.2.19/7.0.8. Upstream migrated to Spring Framework 6 in GeoServer 3.0, not in the 2.x line, so it cannot be backported here.
