Impact

github.com/hamba/avro/v2 is an indirect dependency reached via internal/components -> pulsarexporter -> github.com/apache/pulsar-client-go -> github.com/hamba/avro/v2. The upstream repository was archived on 2026-01-18; the final release v2.31.0 is still affected and OSV records all versions as vulnerable with no fixed version available. github.com/apache/pulsar-client-go is already at its latest release v0.21.0, which still requires github.com/hamba/avro/v2 v2.29.0, so no dependency bump can clear this. No package change is possible until a fix lands upstream.
