Impact

CVE-2026-115910 is fixed in social-auth-core 6.2.0 (https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-h2r5-x5m7-3935). AWX 24.6.1 is not compatible with social-auth-core 4.8 or later: its SAML authentication backend constructs SAMLIdentityProvider using an interface that social-auth-core 4.8 changed, and social-auth-core 6.x additionally requires Django 5.2, while AWX 24.6.1 supports Django 4.2. The package stays on social-auth-core 4.4.2 until an AWX release supports a fixed social-auth-core version.
