Updates

Status

Not affected

Justification

Vulnerable code not present

Impact

The vulnerable hostname-verification logic is in libavformat/tls_mbedtls.c, the only file changed by the upstream fix, and is compiled only when FFmpeg is built against mbedTLS. This build uses OpenSSL as its TLS backend (--enable-openssl, as recorded in the shipped configuration string); tls_mbedtls.o is absent from the shipped static libavformat archive while tls_openssl.o is present, and the shared library links only libssl/libcrypto, so the affected code is not included.

Status

Under investigation
