CVE-2026-43185 affects the ksmbd SMB Direct/RDMA transport (fs/smb/server/transport_rdma.c), which is only built when CONFIG_SMB_SERVER_SMBDIRECT is enabled. That option is not enabled in any Chainguard kernel configuration (enterprise-packages/linux-common: '# CONFIG_SMB_SERVER_SMBDIRECT is not set'), so the vulnerable code is not included in the shipped kernel.
