Impact

github.com/tektoncd/pipeline v1.6.1 is bundled inside tektoncd/chains v0.26.3 (vendored as a Go module dependency). The fix is in pipeline >=1.11.0, which transitively requires a knative.dev/pkg version that drops the metrics package (per knative/pkg#3227, 2025-08-13). chains v0.26.3's own pkg/pipelinerunmetrics module still imports knative.dev/pkg/metrics, making the bump incompatible. Awaiting an upstream chains release that migrates to the new knative.dev/pkg/observability package.
