Impact

jackson-core 2.16.0 is vendored inside the logstash-integration-kafka Ruby gem (v11.8.4-java) as a bundled JAR. The latest upstream release (v11.8.5, released 2026-03-11) was inspected and still bundles jackson-core 2.16.0, confirming no upstream fix is available yet. Fix requires logstash-integration-kafka to update its bundled Kafka client dependencies to include jackson-core >= 2.18.6.
