Impact

The package's own jackson-databind is already outside the affected range; the flagged copy is relocated inside Apache Hadoop's hadoop-client-runtime shaded uber-jar, which pins jackson at 2.18.6 and declares no jackson dependency, so dependency constraints cannot reach it. Remediation requires Apache Hadoop to publish a client runtime built against jackson-databind 2.18.8 or later.
