Impact

Remediation requires cilium/ebpf 0.22.0, which removed the ProgramInfo.RunCount and ProgramInfo.Runtime methods that the vendored runc 1.2.8 cgroup device manager calls. Upstream kubevirt resolved this in 1.9.0 by migrating from runc to opencontainers/cgroups with a direct cilium/ebpf dependency; that change has not been backported to earlier release branches.
