Impact

jackson-databind 2.12.7.1 is shaded inside hadoop-client-runtime-3.4.2.jar, so it cannot be upgraded separately from Hadoop. No Apache Hadoop release bundles a patched version: the 3.4.x releases bundle 2.12.7.1, and 3.5.0 bundles 2.18.6, which is still in the affected range. A fix requires a Hadoop release that bundles a patched jackson-databind.
