Impact

The detection flags spring-webmvc-5.3.39.jar bundled inside the upstream ActiveMQ 5.19 release tarball. The fix is available only in spring-webmvc 6.2.18 / 7.0.7; the Spring 5.3.x OSS line ended at 5.3.39 and any later patches ship only in commercial (VMware Tanzu) builds. Adopting Spring 6.x would require the javax->jakarta EE namespace migration that the upstream ActiveMQ 5.x branch has not adopted (this migration only landed in ActiveMQ 6.x). Tracking upstream for an ActiveMQ 5.x release that picks up a remediated Spring 5.3.x patch, or for downstream migration to ActiveMQ 6.x.
