Impact

kots embeds github.com/jackc/pgx/v4@v4.18.3 transitively (indirect dependency); upstream kots source code does not directly import pgx. The vulnerable v4 line lacks an upstream patch for GHSA-j88v-2chj-qfwx — only pgx/v5 (>=5.9.2) is fixed, and v5.9.2 is already present in the kots module graph alongside v4. Removing the v4 transitive requires the parent dependency that pulls it in to migrate to pgx/v5, which is outside this package's control. Pending upstream removal of the v4 transitive.
