Impact

jline-reader/jline-builtins are shaded into hadoop-client-runtime. Apache Hadoop pins jline 3.9.0 across every release, both maintenance branches (branch-3.4, branch-3.5) and trunk, so no upstream-fixed hadoop-client-runtime exists, and Spark 3.5 supports only the Hadoop 3.3.x line. The fix (jline 3.30.15) additionally carries JDK 22 FFM classes that Spark's bytecode enforcement rejects on this Java 8 build. Pending upstream fix.
