Impact

The github.com/prometheus/prometheus dependency at v0.303.1 has a vulnerability fixed in v0.311.3. Tempo v2.8.4 directly imports github.com/prometheus/prometheus/tsdb/errors (modules/generator/storage); that package was removed in prometheus v0.311.x, so bumping prometheus to the fixed version fails go mod tidy with 'no required module provides package github.com/prometheus/prometheus/tsdb/errors'. Awaiting an upstream Tempo release adapted to prometheus v0.311.x+.
