Impact

github.com/docker/docker is pulled into drone-server transitively through github.com/drone-runners/drone-runner-docker v1.8.4-0.20240815103043-c6c3a3e33ce3, the release the project depends on. The fix for CVE-2025-54410 lands in Docker 28.0.0, but drone-runner-docker uses the Docker SDK (types.NetworkCreate) in a way incompatible with the v28 API, so the fixed docker/docker release cannot be adopted and the build fails against it. Remediation is pending an upstream drone-runner-docker release that supports the Docker 28 SDK, or removal of the dependency by the drone project.
