Impact

The Java-platform build of this gem ships only compiled jars and contains no C sources. The upstream fix modifies only the C generator extension and its buffer header. The Java generator writes through a bounds-checked stream with no equivalent pointer arithmetic, so the reported out-of-bounds write is not reachable.
