The package links github.com/prometheus/prometheus at module version v0.311.3, which corresponds to upstream Prometheus release 3.11.3 — the release that fixes this issue. Prometheus publishes its Go library using v0.3xx.y module tags, so the scanner reads 0.311.3 as a 0.x version and incorrectly matches it against the affected range below 3.5.3. The fixed code is already present in the shipped binary, so this detection is a false positive.
