Impact

github.com/envoyproxy/gateway is the upstream project for this package. This CVE is fixed upstream in Envoy Gateway 1.7.4. Backporting the fix to the 1.6 stream is not feasible — it requires multiple manual, cross-cutting code changes. Probably this stream will not carry the fix; users who need it should move to the envoy-gateway 1.7+ streams (1.7.4 or higher). or Upstream have to have a verified backport of this CVE fixes into this stream.
