Impact

The prometheus/prometheus fix (v0.311.3) cannot be adopted on this stream: datadog-agent builds through a go.work workspace, so the raise propagates to the bundled OpenTelemetry collector modules whose prometheusreceiver (v0.140.x on this stream) does not implement prometheus v0.311's new storage.Appender interface and fails to build (verified locally). Adopting the fix requires upstream datadog-agent to move its collector stack to >=0.152, as the 7.77+ streams already do.
