Impact

Fixed upstream on the master branch by commit ed27bfcbbbc0872c0195eaf4dd2c0c93b9f1778e (avutil/avstring: fix infinite loop in av_strireplace with empty search string). The vulnerable code is present and compiled in the shipped version. The fix has not been backported to this release branch and no point release containing it has been published.
