Impact

CVE-2026-97031 is fixed in Go 1.26.9 and 1.27.2 (https://pkg.go.dev/vuln/GO-2026-6607). nic_sampler (/usr/local/cuda-13.4/nsight-compute/host/target-linux-x64/plugins/efa_metrics/nic_sampler) is a prebuilt Go binary that NVIDIA ships without source in Nsight Compute 2026.3.1.2. It is built with go1.26.5, and only an NVIDIA rebuild with a fixed Go toolchain can update it. This is the newest Nsight Compute release in NVIDIA's CUDA redistributable index. Waiting for an NVIDIA release built with a fixed Go toolchain.
