Impact

This advisory affects the prometheus 2.51.x version stream. The fixes for this CVE land in the prometheus 3.x release line (go-module v0.311.x), and backporting them would require bumping past the 2.51 stream boundary. Awaiting an upstream backport to a 2.51 patch release or an upgrade path within the supported version stream.
