Impact

jackson-databind 2.12.1 is shaded inside the cos_api-bundle-5.6.69.jar uber jar pulled by hadoop-cos, which pins cos_api-bundle explicitly in its POM (also on branch-3.5). Dependency management cannot rewrite classes inside a published artifact, and the newest published bundle still shades vulnerable versions of its embedded dependencies. Pending an upstream hadoop-cos / cos_api-bundle release.
