Impact

CVE-2026-54515 (GHSA-5jmj-h7xm-6q6v) affects jackson-databind's 2.18.x (fixed 2.18.9) and 2.21.x (fixed 2.21.5) lines; Elasticsearch's managed jackson-databind is 2.18.9 and unaffected. The remaining detection is jackson-databind 2.21.3 shaded inside the prebuilt Apache parquet-hadoop-bundle 1.17.1 (the latest release), which cannot be overridden at build time. Pending a new parquet-hadoop-bundle that embeds jackson-databind >= 2.21.5 (not yet released).
