Impact

CVE-2026-72684 (Elastic Security Advisory ESA-2026-76) is a denial-of-service issue in Elasticsearch, resolved upstream in versions 8.19.20 and 9.4.5. This package builds Elasticsearch 8.19.20 — the fixed release for the 8.19 line — so the fix is present from the first build of this version; package versions 8.19.11 through 8.19.19 were affected. Fixed as of 8.19.20-r0.
