The package builds github.com/prometheus/prometheus v0.311.3, which is upstream Prometheus release 3.11.3 - the fixed version for this issue. The Prometheus Go library uses v0.3xx.y module versioning, so the scanner compares module version 0.311.3 against release 3.11.3 and reports a false positive.
