Impact

This vulnerability is in github.com/docker/distribution's registry client (manifests.Get in registry/client) and its pull-through proxy (registry/proxy), which are not included in this package. The only docker/distribution package linked into /usr/bin/k3s is registry/client/auth/challenge, a WWW-Authenticate header parser. Verified on the built binary for x86_64 and aarch64: of more than 880,000 symbols, 15 come from docker/distribution, all from registry/client/auth/challenge.
