Justification

Vulnerable code not in execute path

Impact

CVE-2022-46337 is an LDAP injection flaw in Derby LDAPAuthenticationSchemeImpl, exploitable only when derby.authentication.provider=LDAP is configured and the database accepts client connections. Nacos uses Derby strictly embedded (jdbc:derby: in-process, hardcoded built-in credentials in persistence/.../LocalDataSourceServiceImpl.java) and never enables LDAP authentication, so the vulnerable code is not reachable. Upstream maintainers confirmed the same in alibaba/nacos#11555 and #12698. No published Derby fix exists for JDK 17: 10.14.2.1/10.15.2.1/10.16.1.2 were never released to Maven Central and 10.17.1.0 requires Java 21; upstream declined the bump in alibaba/nacos#15478 (2026-07-09).
