Impact

This vulnerability is resolved in fluentd 1.19.3, which enforces strict path boundary validation for the ${tag} placeholder in output file paths. Upstream has not backported this fix to earlier release series, and no patched release exists for this version stream. This will be remediated when upstream publishes a fixed release for this series.
