Impact

CVE-2026-77524 is fixed in keda/v2 2.21.0, which this package cannot adopt. keda 2.21.0 dropped the replace directive that pinned sigs.k8s.io/controller-runtime to v0.23.3 and now requires v0.24.1 outright. controller-runtime 0.24 removed the webhook.Defaulter and webhook.Validator interfaces and made ctrl.NewWebhookManagedBy generic, and vertica-kubernetes 25.4.0.0 still uses all three in api/v1, so bumping keda fails the build at "make vet" with undefined: webhook.Defaulter and "not enough arguments in call to ctrl.NewWebhookManagedBy" (see chainguard-dev/stereo#388949). Remediation here depends on upstream porting those webhooks to the controller-runtime 0.24 API.
