Impact

The vulnerability affects both the tika-core and tika-parser-pdf-module components. It was addressed in version 3.2.2 via the patch included in PR https://github.com/apache/tika/pull/2291. Upstream will need to backport the fix to remediate the vulnerability. To immediately mitigate it is recommended to upgrade to the latest available version of Apache Tika 3.2. [v2-migration]
