Impact

CVE-2026-94440 is fixed in Go 1.26.9 and 1.27.2 (https://pkg.go.dev/vuln/GO-2026-6608). nic_sampler (/usr/local/cuda-13.2/nsight-compute/host/target-linux-x64/plugins/efa_metrics/nic_sampler) is a prebuilt Go binary that NVIDIA ships without source in Nsight Compute 2026.1.1.2. It is built with go1.26.1, and only an NVIDIA rebuild with a fixed Go toolchain can update it. 2026.1.1.2 is the newest 2026.1 release, and the newest Nsight Compute release, 2026.3.1.2, still ships nic_sampler built with go1.26.5. Waiting for an NVIDIA release built with a fixed Go toolchain.
