Impact

CVE-2026-43414 affects the QLogic Fibre Channel HBA driver (drivers/scsi/qla2xxx), which is only built when CONFIG_SCSI_QLA_FC is enabled. That option is not enabled in any Chainguard kernel configuration (enterprise-packages/linux-common: '# CONFIG_SCSI_QLA_FC is not set'), so the vulnerable code is not included in the shipped kernel.
