Impact

vue-template-compiler 2.7.16 is the last Vue 2 compiler release and the advisory has no fixed version on the 2.x line (Vue 2 is end-of-life upstream). This GitLab release still builds its frontend on Vue 2.7 with the Vue 3 migration in progress upstream. Resolution requires upstream GitLab to complete the Vue 3 migration.
