Upgrading to Docker v28 is currently not feasible because the package’s code is incompatible with the updated API, preventing a successful build. Upstream must refactor the codebase to align with Docker v28 interfaces. Once this adjustment is made, the dependency can be safely upgraded and the vulnerability remediated.
