Impact

Remediation requires bumping the bundled timestamp-authority module to v2.1.0, which transitively pulls a newer OpenTelemetry net/http instrumentation module that removes an API (otelhttp.DefaultClient) the pinned application release still uses, causing the build to fail. Upstream has removed that usage on its release branch but has not yet shipped it in a tagged release; the fix is pending that release.
