Impact

github.com/opencontainers/runc v1.3.4 is an indirect dependency embedded in the Falco container plugin (libcontainer.so) via the plugin's go-worker module. CVE-2026-41579 is fixed in runc 1.3.6, but the latest container-plugin release (0.7.1) and its main branch still resolve 1.3.4 and do not list runc as a direct dependency, so it cannot be bumped independently of the plugin's module graph. Remediation is pending an upstream github.com/falcosecurity/plugins dependency update that raises runc to 1.3.6 or later.
