The detected component at /srv/gitlab/public/assets/webpack/sourcegraph/0.0.95/extensions/sourcegraph-thrift/package.json is the Sourcegraph code-intelligence "thrift" extension — a webpack-bundled language extension that provides filename and symbol navigation for .thrift IDL files in the GitLab Web UI. The version literal "0.0.0-DEVELOPMENT" is a semantic-release placeholder used by Sourcegraph code-intel extensions, not a real Apache Thrift npm release. The vulnerable recursive deserialization code path from Apache Thrift's NodeJS transport (CVE-2026-41636) is not present in this static frontend asset. This is a package-name-confusion false positive.
